Spring Audits were a Success
In March, the results of a QMS audit by the TÜV SÜD certification body were summarized at the Omsk production site. The auditors confirmed that quality management systems were in total conformity with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001. As noted by the auditors, the management systems have proved to be convincingly effective in preparing and approving plans, budgets and investment projects, and management takes into account the need for achieving objectives with sustainability principles in mind. Production processes were confirmed to be in full compliance with requirements of the above standards, which guarantees high quality of products.
April saw audits by Pirelli and Continental at the Volgograd branch. The branch scored 98% in Pirelli’s supplier rating for customer-responsive environment and focus on continual improvement. The Continental representatives stressed the branch’s sustainability and expressed the intention to cooperate on a long-term basis. The Volgograd team also stood a check by experts of Intercertifika-TÜV OOO, a Russian branch of the German TÜV MS certification body. The management systems for occupational safety and environment were found to operate based on Russian legal requirements in accordance with the best national practices and to meet all of the requirements of the ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001 standards.
